Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually happening.
